About The Ogaden
The Southeast
deserves a
better list.
There's no shortage of "best of" articles. What's missing is a place to actually keep track — to save the restaurant someone recommended, mark it visited when you finally go, and build a record of the places that made up your version of this region.
Our mission
Curated. Personal. Yours.
The Ogaden is a discovery and bucket list platform for Atlanta, Greenville, and Charlotte. We curate the places — restaurants, trails, bars, cultural sites, markets, music venues — and you decide which ones to chase.
The name comes from the spirit of exploration: finding the good stuff before everyone else does, then remembering it. Sign in with Google, save a place, mark it visited when you go. That's the whole loop.
We're starting with three cities we know well. More coming.
Launch cities
The BeltLine, Krog Street, Ponce City, Midtown — a city reinventing itself in real time. We find the places that make it worth the traffic.
5 places in Atlanta →Falls Park, the Swamp Rabbit Trail, a Main Street that actually works — Greenville punches well above its weight. The Southeast's most underrated city.
5 places in Greenville →NoDa's galleries, Amélie's at midnight, live music at the Evening Muse — Charlotte's neighborhoods have their own gravity. We map the pull.
